After a surprisingly close victory in five sets Wednesday evening, the No. 6 Wisconsin women’s volleyball team ends its regular season Saturday night against Michigan State at the UW Field House in Madison.

In Wednesday’s home match against Ohio State, the Badgers won the first two sets, 25-23 and 25-14, but lost the next two, 25-21 and 26-24, before winning in the fifth set, 15-12. The Buckeyes, like the Spartans tonight, are not conference contenders.

So Wisconsin (22-6, 16-3) will look for a more dominant performance against the Spartans (13-17, 6-13) with the NCAA Tournament less than a week away and looking to lock in a likely no. .2 seeds.

Wisconsin will also celebrate the careers of Carly Anderson, CC Crawford, Sarah Franklin, Julia Orzol, Devyn Robinson and Anna Smrek on Senior Night.
