After Tyson Vs. Paul Match is accused of being rigged and scripted, the fight organization speaks out

Many viewers were I’m having a hard time watching Tyson vs. Paul with their Netflix Subscriptions on fight night due to technical issues. However, the fight has recently been the subject of discussion for another reason. Following Paul’s decisive victory over the boxing legend, many suggested and even shared clips suggesting that the fight was fixed or timed for the young fighter to win. As discussions continue, the fight organization responsible for the event shared a statement.

Most Valuable Promotions hopes to be part of the live sports entertainment space and provide more must-see events for the TV schedule 2025. As it prepares to do so, it appears the organization has been offended by suggestions that Paul vs. Tyson was treated the same as an affair WWE match than a real boxing event. Amid claims that Tyson held back or was contractually obligated not to knock out Jake Paulthe company published the following message:

Following the widespread circulation of incorrect and baseless claims that undermine the integrity of the Paul vs. Tyson event, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) wishes to set the record straight regarding contractual agreements and the nature of the fight . Fixing a professional boxing match is a federal crime in the United States of America. Paul vs. Tyson was a professional match sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations (TDLR). Both fighters performed in good faith to the best of their abilities in an effort to win the fight. There were absolutely no restrictions – contractual or otherwise – around either fighter. Each boxer was able to use their entire arsenal to win the fight. Any agreement to the contrary would violate TDLR boxing rules.
