With the tourist season in full swing, tourists from all over the world flock to Agra to see the Taj Mahal. Recently, a video of a father-son duo from Uzbekistan went viral after visiting the iconic monument. The two men arrived at the Taj Mahal on Tuesday, November 30, and were frustrated by the long lines at the security entrance. The tourist, named Nurad, filmed the security check and uploaded it to social media.

In the viral video, the foreign tourist expressed frustration over the long queues at the entrance of the Taj Mahal and appealed to the government to establish a separate line for foreign tourists to ease the process. He appealed to the Indian government, requesting that a dedicated line be set up for foreign visitors during security screening.

The tourist added: “So far, I have traveled to more than 70 countries. Today I am in India to visit the Taj Mahal. I am very happy to be here, but I would like to ask the Indian government to improve one thing. The security system here needs to be addressed. Because so many local tourists visit the Taj Mahal, as a foreign tourist I would prefer to have a separate queue so we don’t have any problems entering. The tourist, visibly upset, mentioned that his elderly father had to stand in line for hours, causing him a lot of discomfort.

After the video went viral, it sparked a lot of discussion. Some people shared the foreign tourist point of view. In response, a statement was issued by Taj Mahal conservation assistant Prince Vajpayee. He explained: “There is a separate arrangement for foreign tourists to enter the Taj Mahal. However, once inside, all visitors are subject to the same security procedures, with no separate queues for anyone. The reason is that security cannot be compromised at the Taj Mahal. The video shared by the foreign tourist reflects his personal point of view.”
