Nigerian singer Mr May D, real name Akinmayokun Awodumil, has bragged about how he would have dominated the music industry before his Wizkid if not for his conflict now. defunct group Psquarewhich was formerly owned by Peter and Paul Okoye.

May D made the bold statement during a heated exchange with Wizkid’s fans after expressing her pride in the singer’s main rival. Davido in a tweet on X.

“Always proud of you @davido, very nice guy!! We don’t deserve you,” May D tweeted.

His tweet, however, did not go down well with Wizkid’s fans, who launched a verbal attack on him. In response, May D, who was making headlines over her representation in Ile IfeOsun State, wrote:

“If not, what’s going on between me and Psquare, who is the magician? Chai.”

He further called Wizkid to warn his fans to avoid a future confrontation with him.

“Next time, warn your fans, make sure they mind their own business, or I’ll come for you all.”

Recall that on July 18, 2020, May D, who featured on Psquare’s hit song Chop My Money alongside American star Akon, announced that she had signed an agreement with Davido. Music Worldwide (DMW).

Legitime.ng also reported that the singer clarified how the His amapiano from South Africa was presented to Nigeria.

While Davido’s fans gave him credit, May D, in a tweet, said he brought Amapiano to Nigeria, with rewards to back his claims.

“If I bring amapiano come naija, and I have awards to prove it! We started the South African Naija collaboration,” he said.
