Beloved children’s musician Raffi reveals he’s looking for a partner

Raffi is looking for love!

The beloved children’s musician, known for songs like “Baby Beluga” and “Shake My Sillies Out,” announced he’s looking for “a special woman” — and fans are rushing to help him in his search!

In a Discussion post shared on Sunday, October 27, the 76-year-old musician, born Raffi Cavoukian, shared a photo of himself smiling and posing next to a tree with his arms raised. In the caption, he opened up about his longtime search for a partner.

“For some time I have wanted to meet a special woman with whom to share sincere joy,” wrote the singer-songwriter, who currently resides in British Columbia, Canada.

“Some days,” he continued, “it seems like it might never happen, other days such a meeting seems imminent.” well, what will the universe be?.

Intentional or not, the “Down By The Bay” singer’s sweet and honest message has turned into a crowdsourcing hotspot, with fans of all ages filling out his responses with potential matches — including their mothers!

One user wrote that they “would love to send” Raffi his mother’s contact information, and even made a quick pitch.

“She is local, sings, plays cello, has a doctorate in early childhood education, and has a zest for life that is second to none,” they wrote of their mother, prompting one user to respond : “She seems like the perfect partner. »

Another Threads user also suggested his mother as a possible partner for the musician, writing “I can introduce you to my mother :).”

Others fired more directly. “Actually, it could be me!” one wrote, while another asked: “Where do we send our CVs?”
