Detroit Lions Amon-Ra St. Brown injury update ahead of Chicago Bears Thanksgiving game

In Sunday’s 24-6 victory against the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered a right knee injury while also fulfilling punt return duty for injured returner and wide receiver Kalif Raymond. St. Brown did not participate in Monday’s practice and participated on a limited basis in Tuesday’s practice. However, signs are increasingly pointing to the star receiver playing in the Thanksgiving Divisional Game against the Chicago Bears.

Lions coach Dan Campbell even suggested that former USC Trojans star St. Brown would once again be the projected punt returner, citing his reliability. So far, St. Brown has only missed two games in his four-year career. His availability is generally as reliable as his play on the field.

“Yeah, I feel good. We have one day left. Short week, but I feel good. St. Brown said of his potential availability for the crucial NFC North clash.

“Every game is different, but you know, you go through a lot of hits and different angles. Your body is usually sore after games, so coming back on short notice is always difficult, but I think every team in the NFL has at least one of those games where you have four days to prepare,” St. Brown said. continued.

St. Brown’s presence is certainly not one the Lions can afford to miss in a game as important as the one ahead. Coming off an incredible franchise record eight straight receiving touchdown games, Amon-Ra is currently as hot as any receiver in the National Football League. Beyond the streak, St. Brown’s targeting efficiency is uncanny.

St. Brown has 71 receptions, 747 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns this season. All of these stats are in the top seven for wide receivers and tight ends. His nine receiving touchdowns are second in the NFL and his 71 receptions are fourth in the league.

The Detroit Lions host the Chicago Bears at Ford Field on Thanksgiving Day on CBS and Paramount Plus at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
