Former DEL player takes charge of Winnipeg Jets talent

While the players are playing, Jimmy Roy is not in the NHL. The all-time Canadian player 313 plays in the AHL for the Manitoba Moose, the farm team of the Winnipeg Jets. Daraufhin lived in Roy in Germany and played from 2006 to 2011 in the DEL for the Iserlohn Roosters. Today is the 49th anniversary of the NHL title – and he is named “director of player development.”

“One of my best deals is, our Draftpicks to help, den Übergang in the NHL zu schaffen. I will live auf Reisen, un beobachten player and mit ihnen über Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten auf et neben dem Eis zu sprechen”, I read in an interview with the “Eishockey News”.

Schöne Erinnerungen in Germany

Today, Roy published an article in the DEL newspaper: “We fought very well in the 2007/08 DEL season, as well as with coach Rick Adduono in the main mission. During the Playoffs, we will be able to go to Frankfurt to watch the final final.

Erfühlt sich noch immer mit den Roosters und Deutschland verbunden: “I will see the table of the DEL wöchentlich and I will be immersed once again in the contact with Christian Hommel (ex-player and ex-sports director of the Roosters, Anm.d. Red.) and Karsten Mende (Ex-Spieler and Ex-Manager der Roosters, Anm.d.Red.). Two of my children are in Iserlohn geboren, and the town is in a besonderen place to my Herzen.
