The fall cold causes temperatures in Quebec to plunge below negative figures

Tuesday temperature anomaly Quebec

The last occurrence of a temperature falling below freezing occurred on November 3, 2021. In contrast, the first instance of readings falling below freezing occurred on September 23, 1974.

The good news, however, is that this will be short-lived before another warm-up is on the horizon.

Tuesday will be slightly warmer, and Wednesday will see even higher temperatures, with many places expected to reach 20C with a gusty southwest wind.

Wednesday night temperatures and conditions Quebec

Temperatures of 20°C are still forecast for Thursday.

We will monitor the potential of a record and warm Halloween Thursday for Montreal. For now, forecasts are for 23°C, which would exceed its old record of 21.7°C dating from 1956.
