Rainy start across the DMV which should dissipate in the afternoon

Happy Thanksgiving! This year, the start of the day will be wet, but the latest forecast calls for a drier afternoon. This should give you plenty of time to dry off after your holiday meal. Temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid 50s in the afternoon.

Tonight the skies will clear but with a stiff breeze temperatures will only fall into the 30s. Time that robe extra tight before heading out to remove the paper from the driveway in the morning.

Friday, get ready for Black Friday shopping! Gusty northwest winds will make the day cool.

This weekend, the coldest air of the season is arriving! Expect severe frost on Saturday and Sunday morning (the first time for the city) and afternoon high temperatures only around 40 degrees. The brisk breezes will make it feel like it’s in the 20s and 30s – so bundle up when you go shopping or look for the perfect tree.
