Pastor Jerry Ezea popular Nigerian cleric, sparked an online debate with a lengthy tweet shared on his official Twitter page.

Jerry Eze’s post was about what he did to a woman who molested his late mother when he was very young.

What Jerry Eze did to the woman

According to his post, they all lived in the same complex and one day he beat his late mother so badly. They met recently and she asked for his help and forgiveness. THE man of God claimed it hurt, but he forgave her.

Likewise, he advised Nigerians to pray to forgive and forget.

Jerry Eze wrote:

“So yesterday I met a woman who beat my late mother terribly. Anyone who knows me knows how much I adore my mother. I was young and she was a young woman then and we lived in the same compound. She threw my mother to the ground and hit her so hard. This memory traumatized me for so long.

He continued;

“She came to me yesterday asking for help and asking for prayers and mentioned how NSPPD had changed her life. It was amazing how I got her help and she burst into tears. She remembered what happened, I remembered too, most of all, I had forgiven FORGIVENESS IS SO FREEING, I know it hurts, PLEASE FORGIVE. !!!”

Pastor Jerry Eze finally responds to criticism
