Boy, 16, charged with attempted murder after fight in St Ann’s

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder after a man suffered “serious knife wounds” during a fight in Nottingham.

Police were called to St Ann’s Way in St Ann’s at around 2300 GMT on Sunday following reports of an altercation between two people.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition, Nottinghamshire Police said.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
