ALACHUA, Fla. (WCJB) – An Alachua County school program is set to receive tens of thousands of dollars in a state grant.

School leaders say a state award of nearly $30,000 will go to Santa Fe High School’s HVAC program.

Enrolled students can earn industry certification to start a career in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

The money will be used to purchase new equipment for the program.
