Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Hunters has arrived in Battle Royale, sparking a huge meta shift with the return of Hitscan, Oni Masks, and more robust moves.

Epic Games Hunter Update also introduced a completely new Fortnite map for chapter 6 which sports a Japanese theme and aesthetic, including cherry blossoms galore.

This season is all about making a name for yourself as a demon hunter by using different Oni masks, sprites, and perks to give you different abilities to help you obtain it. Royal Victory.

Here’s everything included in the Fortnite Season 1 Chapter 6 update patch notes.

Downtime for Fortnite Season 1 Chapter 6 Update finished at 4:25 a.m. ET on December 1with the servers are now back online for the launch of this season.

The v33.0 Hunters server downtime began at 11 p.m. ET and lasted approximately seven hours in total, making it one of the longest downtimes this year.

Ancient architecture

• Virtue is found in tradition. Defeat the minor demons that besiege the large structure of the Warrior’s Watchtrains for combat duty at Flooded Frogsor climb the mountain peak to test your courage against enemies at The solitude of the Shogun.

Modern wonders

• The dense commercial district of Port city redefines close quarters, while Brilliant duration connects it to neighboring villages such as Crossing the canyona cliffside getaway with competing bun shops.

Supernatural secrets

• Between the serene landscapes are sacred lands such as overgrown lands. Magic foams with its obelisks and its underground treasures and the Night forestwhere the sun doesn’t shine. Watching over all this is The big turtlea venerable old soul, searching for her lost partner.

New weapons

All the new weapons in chapter 6 of season 1 will be hitscan and these include:

• Holo Twister Assault rifle
• Fury assault rifle
• Veiled Precision SMG
• SMG Surgefire
• Sentinel Pump
• Twinfire automatic rifle
• Oni Shotgun

You can also get the Typhoon Bladewhich will trigger a series of rapid strikes. By using it, you will consume less endurance during sprinting and sprint faster.

Weapon Expertise Quests

• Chapter 6 Season 1 introduces a new weapon Expertise Questswhere completing combat quests such as damaging or eliminating players with certain weapons will reward XP and unlock the ability to purchase a legendary version of that weapon type from characters on the map.

• Lesser demons around the island will drop their masks of power when defeated.
• Give it Fire Oni Mask and launch homing projectiles to cause big damage.
• Teleport with the Void Oni Mask to reposition and surpass your opponents!

Air, Land, and Water Sprites for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.

Endearing and helpful, Leprechauns are the living representation of Magic returned to the Island. Found everywhere, these innocent creatures produce unique effects.

• Aerial sprites – can be cast to create an upward wind vortex that can send you flying with a glider redeploy. The vortex can also damage buildings and launchers.
• Water sprites – can be cast to create a healing fountain that restores health and protects nearby players.
• Earth Elves – will consume the items you give them in exchange for a reward.

Sprite shines and enjoys

Bring a Sprite to one of the Forgotten Sprite Shrines around the island to revitalize them and acquire a powerful Bargain. Perks, which drop from bosses and can also be found in chests, are consumed upon recovery and persist even after elimination.

• Favor of fire – Reload your weapons faster.
• Favor of the Void – Eliminating players reveals other nearby players.
• Blessing of the Wind – Move faster when your pickaxe is equipped.
• Blessing of water – Swimming grants health and shields to yourself and nearby swimming teammates.

New movement features

Chapter 6 adds Ledge Jump, Roll landing, Wall kickAnd Rushing the walls to the main move in Fortnite! These new movement features will be universally applied across Battle Royale, Reload, and creator-made islands.

Ledge Jump

• Parkour! Sprint jump very close to a ledge, whether it’s a cliff or a roof, and you’ll perform a Ledge Jump! Ledge Jumps will send you further, allowing you to reach places you normally couldn’t reach. Hit a Ledge Jump with some speed for some serious hang time.

Roll landing

• Keep moving. Chapter 6 presents Roll landingwhere holding Jump or tapping it just before hitting the ground while falling will cause you to roll, restoring some stamina.

Wall kick

• Jumping against a vertical surface next to you in the air will allow you to perform a Wall kick! Wall Kicks will launch you off the walls in the direction of your choice. Incorporate Wall Kicks into your traversal and combat maneuvers to keep your enemies on their toes. You can perform a mantle, perform a roll landing, or even perform another wall kick after wall kick!

Rushing the walls

• Jumping against a vertical surface in front of you will allow Rushing the walls! Reach this high ledge by taking a few long strides up a wall. If it is possible to cover it, you will automatically cover it. Press Jump at any time while performing a Wall Scramble to perform a Wall Kick.

There are two NPC Bosses on the map below:

• Dispel the spreading darkness by chasing away the dangerous Shogun Xa powerful demon warrior who rampages across the island collecting spiritual energy. Defeat Shogun Wanderer’s Medallionwhich grants infinite stamina and invisibility while sprinting.
• Beware of night rosewhose spirit is known to hunt down those who enter his domain with surprise attacks from another realm. She drops the Night Rose Medallion upon elimination, causing your weapons to reload on their own.

Simple Edition Building

Simple modificationA new build setting that you can enable in the Settings menu allows you to change builds with the press of a button. The resulting modification is based on the part of the building you are looking at rather than being painted manually: it automatically executes building modifications immediately, completely removing the tile selection step.

Simple Edit makes editing on the fly easier and should also prove useful for players who are new to building in Fortnite or are interested in learning. Simple Edit allows a smaller subset of edits to choose from, and masters of the current editing system will have more editing options available.

As with any major addition to Fortnite, we will collect data and feedback on Simple Edit and may make adjustments to the system in the future.
