Two million euros in funding for the “NervAdapt” project

Leipzig. Professor Robert Fledrich is a member of the European Research Council (ERC) with an ERC Consolidator Grant ausgezeichnet worden. The Neurological Institute of the Institute of Medical Anatomy of the University of Leipzig undertook with two million euros of research for scientific work on the regeneration of peripheral nervous systems and the University of Leipzig worked with it.

The “NervAdapt” project was designed by European research and supports basic solutions, in order to find a way of nerve regeneration. “A complete repair is not easy, when the work is done from the best Zellen abgebaut and it is possible to realize a new project,” said Fledrich. “A central game of Rolle with Gliazellen, a specialist sales store erbringen müssen, um diesen Regenerationsprozess zu koordinieren. »

With the NervAdapt project, the regeneration potential is generated by Nerven, communication about Zell types and storage dynamics are also possible. Through a comprehensive approach to science and research with Genetic Manipulation in Mäusen erhofft sich Fledrich, new therapies for all types of nerve manipulation can be found.

Fledrich studied biology in Göttingen, in 2014 at the Max-Planck-Institut für Experimentelle Medizin in Neurowissenschaften and was promoted as a postdoctoral physician. 2018 came to the University of Leipzig, which works according to a group of experts at the Institute of Anatomy of Medical Sciences. 2023 will be the professor of neuroanatomy.
