Mel B’s bold response to the other Spice Girls on her 30th birthday

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the formation of the British pop group Spice girls – but don’t expect a reunion anytime soon.

In an interview with British game show Sky Max Don’t pay attention to the buzzcocksset to air in the UK on Wednesday October 30, Spice Girls member Melanie, “Mel B.Brown had some words for her former bandmates. During the chat, Mel B revealed she was kicked out of a WhatsApp group message after pushing the ladies to go on a reunion tour.

When asked what led to her being fired, Mel B explained: “Because I’m from the North and I say what I think and feel, and I’m constantly telling the girls, ‘We need to go back on tour.'” went on to say, “Because they’re assholes.”

The Spice Girls were formed in 1994 with Mel B (Scary Spice), Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell-Horner (Ginger Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Classy spice). The “Wannabe” writers haven’t released an album together since 2000’s Forever, which marked their third studio album, but they have reunited for performances several times over the years.

The singers of “2 Become 1” went on tour in 2007 and performed the closing ceremony of the Paris 2012 Olympic Games. In 2019, the band reunited for a series of stadium shows without Beckham.

Earlier this year, the five members met at Beckham’s 50th birthday partyand performed their 1998 hit “Stop.” However, when speaking with Radio-FranceBeckham said she has no plans to perform or record new music with the ladies, as she wants to explore new avenues of creativity.

“I’m really proud of what I did with the Spice Girls,” Beckham said, “but today I want to help people assert themselves through fashion, for example, and beauty.”
