Emmerdale hints at Brenda leaving after latest row with Eric

Emmerdale Spoilers follow for the final episode broadcast on ITV1.

Emmerdale aired heartbreaking scenes this evening (December 3) as Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard continued to rowand she considered leaving the village.

The last episode saw Eric, who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease last year, insisted that he would be able to fix a scam situation on his own and wouldn’t need anyone’s help. Brenda was calm with him, although she admitted she should be furious and went outside.

When she returned, she told Eric that she had gone to the police despite his protests, and the authorities told her that since he had invested her money willingly and knew the risks, they couldn’t do anything.

“And what I need?” she replied, admitting that she doesn’t know if she has the energy to recover from financial ruin.

Eric then ran up to Brenda on the street and told her that no matter how bad the situation was, they still had a roof over their heads.

“It’s your name on the deeds,” she replied. “Everything I had, everything I worked for my whole life, is gone.”

Their conversation continued at home, with Brenda telling him that the only reason she hasn’t moved out is because she’s “broke” and “stuck here.”
