He Actor Bill Skarsgård shared the hard work he put in to get an unsettling voice inside him for Nosferatu vampire, Count Orlok.

Bill claimed he tried almost everything to make sure he took on such a deep voice that unsettled moviegoers in theaters watching the horror film.

“I didn’t want it to seem contrived. I wanted it to seem supernatural and fucked up and unsettling,” he said. Sound effects review.

The 34-year-old Swedish actor added: “You have these descriptions that are so visceral: Orlok’s painful, labored breathing.”

According to him, the voice of the Transylvanian vampire carries an element of pain when he speaks.

“Even when speaking, there’s an element of pain – it almost hurts for him to speak. All of these little things have been building blocks in the development of the voice.”

Skarsgård, 34, further praised writer Robert Eggers for breaking down the character so well in the script, which allowed him to better understand the nature of the role.

“Robert writes beautiful descriptions. As an actor, you feel very lucky to work on such a script, because it’s almost like working on a novel.

This will be Bill Skarsgård’s second most difficult character after playing “Pennywise” in the He chapters.

His latest film Nosfertau is an adaptation of the 1922 film of the same name.
