EastEnders Spoilers follow for Thursday’s episode (December 5), which is available now on the BBC streaming service iPlayer and has not yet been broadcast on television.

EastEnders revealed the outcome of Nish Panesar’s dramatic escape, in the series finale.

This week, Nish made a desperate effort to make sure Suki and Eve don’t get married, after discover thanks to Nugget that the marriage still takes place.

He paid a prison doctor to tell his family he had only days to live.but when Nish asked Ravi to help him in his cause, he refused – telling his father that Suki deserved happiness.

Nish then took matters into his own hands and planned a prison escape. As he was being taken to a hospice, two armed men stopped the ambulance and Nish was able to leave.

In today’s episodethe paramedics were tied up in the ambulance while the two men took Nish into a car, and he told them he wanted to go to Walford.

The police showed up at the Panesar home and told Suki the shocking news that Nish had escaped. As the whole family was questioned, they realized Nugget hadn’t returned after storming off earlier – and had left his phone at home.

Suki went to look for her grandson, armed with a knife, and she told Eve to stay home with Vinny and Avani, asking her to tell Stacey the news.

The other members of the Six have been informed of Nish’s existence, with Kathy, Denise and Sharon all terrified that he might come for them when he returns.

While Suki searched for Nugget, Stacey confronted her in the street and angrily blamed her for what happened after Nish found out about the marriage.

Back home, Eve and Vinny were worried when they heard someone trying to come in through the back door, but it turned out to be Nugget who had gone home.

The prison doctor came to the house and apologized to the family for agreeing to Nish’s transfer, before explaining that he would die in a few days without his medication.

But then the doctor went to Nish, who resides in a small underground space beneath the square, and gave him the medicine he needed. Nish gave him the rest of the money to pay off his gambling debts.

He was happy to hear that his family was scared and threatening revenge soon. With Nish now back in Walford, what will he do next?

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on BBC One. The show is also broadcast on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes are shown early at 6am before their television broadcast.
