Teachers must register only one fingerprint for exam tasks

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: To ensure smooth workflow and flexibility from end-of-year examination boards, teachers responsible for invigilating examinations at the intermediate and secondary levels will only be required to record only a “single fingerprint” in the morning or after. performing their supervisory duties at the assigned school. According to reliable sources in the education sector, there are plans to activate the fingerprint system for school supervisors assigned to “twelfth grade” boards. This eliminates the need for teachers to return to their school to be fingerprinted.

This approach aims to provide flexibility and ensure that the presence of teachers is recorded and their early arrival at the boards is documented, which will enable them to carry out their responsibilities without difficulty. The fingerprint system will record teachers’ attendance either at the start of the day or after they have completed their tasks, depending on what best suits the exam boards’ workflow. This procedure aims to protect the rights of teachers and ensure that they are not penalized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for attendance issues. On the other hand, other sources explained that official guidelines were issued to address the primary cycle curriculum, stipulating the need to strictly adhere to the approved study plan and ensuring that students are not dismissed before the end fixed for the school year. These guidelines aim to ensure the continuity of the educational process, maximize the use of the allocated study time and improve the academic success of students by adhering to the planned 16-week schedule. These measures will contribute to improving the quality of education at the primary level by making full use of each school day to achieve the established educational and teaching objectives. School administrations have been asked to adhere to the curriculum schedule and ensure that all classes are implemented as planned and monitored effectively.
