Andre Onana leads horror show as Amorim’s Manchester United are humiliated

Ruben Amorim lost his second consecutive match as Manchester United manager after his side were beaten 3-2 by Nottingham Forest on Saturday night.

It was Amorim’s first defeat at Old Trafford, following Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat at the Emirates.

Corners were once again the Red Devils’ undoing, as Nottingham scored within two minutes through Nikola Milenković.

Onana error against Nottingham Forest

United struggled to get back into the game after Rasmus Hojlund tapped the ball into an empty net. André Onana had the first of their screamers after the break after being easily beaten by a shot from Morgan Gibbs-White.

Nuno Espirito’s side doubled their advantage six minutes later after Onana failed to keep out a Chris Wood header. Bruno Fernandes pulled one back at the other end, but Forest held on to claim the scalp of another giant this season.

Andre Onana wastes time against Nottingham Forest

Manchester United fans were furious at the end when Onana wasted almost 30 seconds arguing with the referee about where to take a free kick. The incident occurred in stoppage time as Amorim’s men were desperate to equalize.
