Although she’s only 7 months old, Duff’s youngest daughter, 37, and her husband Matthew Koma seemed to love a piece of steak at a restaurant. Instagram Stories Video shared by the How I met your father star on Tuesday December 10.

Sitting in her high chair with just a diaper on, Townes babbled happily while trying to chew the meat as the juices ran down her body.

“Starting with the 4th child’s steak. Purees don’t do it for her,” Duff joked in the caption, accompanied by the warning: “If you’re vegan, maybe skip this story today. »

This isn’t the first time Townes has experimented with food. Tuesday, December 10 Duff recalled taking her to a chef friend’s house, where she put “a big ball” of gourmet quiche in her mouth – and started “choking a little”.

“Finally, there is a certain freshness in me towards the fourth child that makes life much more tolerable at the moment,” she added.

The singer turned actress and her husband Matthew Koma hosted Townes on May 3. They also share daughters Banks Purple6 and Mae James3 years while Duff shares her son Lucas Cruz12 years, with a retired NFL player Mike Comrie.

It seems Duff is taking a totally relaxed approach to parenting this time around, also sharing with PEOPLE that Townes is her “coolest” baby.

“She’s a really good baby. She’s just started sleeping through the night, which is amazing. She’s just the chillest,” the star said. “I don’t know if I had to have four kids to have one, or if I’m cooler. I can’t figure out which, but she’s with me.”

Duff also reflected on her approach to parenting in a context May 2021 interview with PEOPLE sharing that she loves the “chaos” of motherhood.

“I love when everyone is full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your child is going to say,” she said. “We’re in the thick of it and it feels good,” she said.
