New Alaska Premium Credit Card: Launch Date and Card Details

There is a fun opportunity for Alaska Mileage Plan members at this time. You could earn 500 Alaska Mileage Plan miles just by getting on a waitlist for Alaska’s recently announced premium card, and an additional 5,000 bonus miles for being one of the first approved for the fancy new card.

As we reported Alaska made major announcements about its future on Tuesday, including adding flights to Asia from its Seattle hub, readjusting its route network now that its merger with Hawaiian is complete, and adding new lounges. It also confirmed that it will add a premium card to its credit card lineup next summer.

You can get 500 Alaska Mileage Plan miles just for join the waiting list before December 31.

Once card applications open for new registrations, you can use an exclusive link sent to you by Alaska. Once your application is approved, you’ll also receive 5,000 bonus miles on top of the card’s welcome bonus (which we hope is lucrative).

Registration is simple and you will receive a confirmation notification after registration.

Alaska isn’t sharing many details about the new map. However, it said it would include a strengthened version of its current system. Alaska Companion Fare Benefit This constitutes an advantage of Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® Credit Card and the Alaska Airlines Visa® Business Card.

Alaska is calling the enhanced version of the companion benefit a “Global Companion Award Certificate” that will be valid on international flights, including some partner airlines.

The card will also earn 3 miles per dollar spent on all eligible purchases and meals abroad, which is an exciting development.

It will also allow customers to waive award ticket fees and include Alaska Lounge Passes and Wi-Fi vouchers. The new card will also allow cardholders to fast-track their path to elite status.

When interviewed Tuesday evening, Alaska told TPG he had nothing more to share on the map at this time. We will look forward to more details, including potential shortcuts to valuable Alaska Mileage Plan Status.

“I think when we looked at our credit card portfolio, we saw that this niche was missing, and so we talked about it a lot, and we wanted to have a credit card offering that was attractive and had attractive benefits for our customers ” said Ben Minicucci, CEO of Alaska, in an interview with The Air Show podcast.

“This will add significant value to our loyalty program,” he said.
