The Qatar Regional District (qRD) is requesting that BC Transit examine barriers to the rural mass transit system.

At the regional council meeting on October 23, trustees passed a motion outlining how the service could better accommodate people attending medical appointments, as part of the next review of the service or sooner, of the system. Powell River Regional Transportation.

The recommendation came from the Joint Advisory Group on Accessibility and Inclusion.
