Adhimabo said the decision affected her relationship with the children, as she had not been with them regularly for over a decade.

She said her son feared her, while her daughter became rebellious even though she made time for family time.

“I am truly sorry for them because I did what I did out of love, to ensure that they were educated, safe and protected. I could not risk ruining their lives due to my incompetence at provide for them. I want them to know that I love them and I’m their mother. I want them to come home to be with me because they’re my children and I. am their mother”, she declared with emotion.
