Government launches special agricultural platform

To ensure that Tanzanians have access to a variety of accurate agricultural information, the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB), in collaboration with industry stakeholders, has launched a special platform that will be used to provide education on important agricultural issues.

Speaking today in Dar es Salaam region, during the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding with the platform known as (Mchongo TV), TADB Director Frank Nyabungege said the platform would provide various information on opportunities in agriculture, including markets and locations. where they can obtain capital under government guarantee.

“You will hear all this on Mchongo TV. Right now, President Samia Suluhu Hassan uses the term agriculture as a business, and she has provided many loans under Build Better Tomorrow (BTT), but many young people and women ignored it because they lacked information.

“Also, many young people do not know that the government provided capital for fishing, the president asks if the money I provided is exhausted, and we say why not because many young people do not know the information on loans, but for now this platform will help us access this information on time and will be an opportunity for the youth,” Nyabungede said.
