Amateur World Champion Olympic Athlete Joins Jake Paul’s Boxing Promotion

About a month after beating Mike Tyson, Jake Paul added to his boxing promotion roster.

The most interesting promotions announced Friday the signing of two-time Canadian Olympian and amateur world champion Tammara “Tamm” Thibeault.

Thibeault competed in the Tokyo and Paris Olympics, reaching the quarterfinals of the 2020 Games; she did not have similar success last summer, losing in the round of 16 as the tournament’s third seed.

However, Thibeault won gold in the middleweight category at the 2022 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships; she also won the title at the 2023 Pan American Games.

Thibeault becomes the third woman on the roster, joining Serrano and Shadasia Green. Serrano’s fight against Katie Taylor at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, was widely considered the fight of the night, while Green won the WBO super middleweight belt earlier in the evening.
