Cleveland Cavaliers get impressive grade to start season

THE Cleveland Cavaliers They were expected to be a playoff contender heading into the season. However, no one could have predicted how well they would play to start the year.

Bleacher Report’s Dan Favale gave every NBA team a grade for their season so far, and the Cavaliers received an impressive grade of “A+.”

No other team on this list received such a high rating.

Here are some things Favale had to say about Cleveland’s impressive and historic start.

“Pretty much everything is going well on the court. The Core Four looks good together and when shifted. Evan Mobley and Darius Garland have improved. Reserves like Caris LeVert, Ty Jerome and even Georges Niang on “Isaac Okoro increased his shooting equipment in the regular season (when healthy),” he wrote.

“Skepticism will remain the norm heading into the playoffs. Rotations built around two small guards and two unspaced bigs will still make many people uncomfortable.”

It is difficult to dispute any point made here. Cleveland’s core four players have been great individually and as a group, and they might also have the deepest bench in the NBA. Each of these factors allowed Kenny Atkinson to adapt and get creative depending on his opponent.

All that and Max Strus has yet to play a single game this season due to an ankle injury suffered before the start of the year.

Yes, so far the Cavaliers’ start has arguably been perfect. But as Favale mentions, Wine and Gold will continue to challenge the roster until they prove that the main four can make the playoffs.

For now, let’s enjoy this good start and the great basketball this team is playing.
