Akash Systems signs $27 million deal to supply Nxtgen with diamond-cooled servers – Technology News

Akash Systems has signed a $27 million (Rs 2.25 billion) deal with NxtGen Datacenter and Cloud Technologies, India’s largest sovereign cloud provider. The deal will see Akash deliver its Diamond Cooled servers to NxtGen’s data centers across the country, improving the performance and efficiency of the cloud infrastructure.

Akash Systems has developed a Diamond Cooling solution for the semiconductor sector, using the high thermal conductivity of synthetic diamond to improve the heat dissipation of semiconductor chips. This technology aims to improve the thermal management of GPU chips, which can reach temperatures of 90°C to 100°C, by integrating diamond materials into existing cooling systems.
