BELPRE, Ohio (WTAP) – The Belpre Lady Golden Eagles quickly defeated Trimble in a 53-17 victory at home to extend their winning streak to five straight games.

Belpre was rolling in the first half, taking a 17-3 lead into the second quarter after Gracie Bills split a triple team to put it two up.

The lead would extend to 20 later in the quarter with Larissa McDaniel passing to Madison Lauer for a 3-pointer. The Lady Golden Eagles never looked back.

Belpré improves to 5-1 on the season and will hit the road to face Waterford on Thursday.
