School Of Rock Musical – (November 1 to November 10, 2024)

Get ready to rock with Dewey Finn, an aspiring rock star who finds himself posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. When Dewey discovers his students’ hidden musical talents, he transforms the heterosexual students into a full-fledged rock band, all while trying to avoid detection by the school principal and the student’s parents. Will they make it to the Battle of the Bands?

Augmented Reality Scavenger Hunt at the Bradley Museum

Dive into an interactive, self-guided augmented reality (AR) scavenger hunt at the Bradley Museum. Families and participants of all ages can explore the museum’s beautiful gardens while discovering fall foods, celebrations and stories from around the world.

How to participate:

  • Scan QR codes at six stations to unlock AR content that reveals traditions from around the world.
  • Grab or download a scavenger hunt game card to answer questions at each station.
  • Submit your completed form to the Bradley Museum during opening hours for a price (while supplies last).

Celebrating Mississauga’s 50th Anniversary

Celebrate Mississauga’s 50th anniversary with CreativeHub 1352 at the Small Arms Inspection Building. The evening will include live jazz from Jazz Plazma, a dance performance from Blueheel Dance Studio, storytelling by Brandon Lista and Laura Therrien, the premiere of a short film and a reception for the “Mississauga Now and Then” exhibition. Digital photography works from Cawthra Park SS’s Grade 12 Visual Arts RAP class will also be showcased through Instagram Stories.

Out of the Vault – (September 26 to December 15)

The Bradley Museum will host an exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of the City of Mississauga. To celebrate this milestone, Mississauga Museums has hidden 50 artifact markers from its historical collection throughout the city as part of the history hunt. Starting September 26, these artifacts will be taken “out of the vault” and on display at the museum.

Visitors are invited to explore the unique stories behind each artifact, providing insight into Mississauga’s rich heritage over the past five decades.

Life Time Fitness Mississauga — Classic Fall Pickleball

The event is open to lifetime members and non-members, with medals for 1st and 2nd place. Additionally, all participants will receive a Pickleball ice cream shaker for life. Community Control of Invasive Species: Ground Cover Plants

Join the Mississauga Forestry Team at Osprey Woods for a hands-on event focused on removing invasive, non-native ground cover plants. The activity will begin with a brief history and ecological overview of the area, followed by tips on identifying and managing invasive species as part of Mississauga’s Invasive Species Management Plan. This is a unique opportunity to support the local ecology while learning valuable conservation skills.

The Sunday antiques market – (January 7 to December 1, 2024)

Toronto’s beloved antiques market has found a new home in Mississauga’s historic Small Arms Inspection Building. This iconic market offers one-of-a-kind treasures, ranging from the Victorian era to mid-century modern styles. With over 80 vendors from across Ontario and Quebec, it’s the perfect place to shop for gifts or discover your next antique find.

Baila West Social Latin Dance

Canada SBK presents a dynamic social Latin dance event. Every Sunday, rain or shine, enjoy the large wooden dance floors and the tunes of Salsa, Bachata, ChaCha and Kizomba. With DJs Flojo, Geronimo and Sweet Like, this event includes two rooms: room 1 for Salsa and Bachata and room 2 for Kizomba. Participants are advised to bring their own drinks and snacks.

Jam Session in an art refuge
