Sennheiser launched Profile Wireless, a two-channel 2.4 GHz system wireless microphone system in India. Priced at Rs 29,900, the microphone offers multiple connectivity options. It can connect to mobile phones, cameras or computers, and can also be used as a clip-on microphone, handheld microphone or table microphone.
The device will be available from the first quarter of 2025.

Sennheiser Profile Wireless is a unique compact 2.4GHz wireless system with a built-in portable option with over 15 hours of battery life. It allows microphones to be used even while charging.
Some of the device’s features include auto-rotating receiver display, no apps required, and various mounting options. Threaded mounts on components ensure smooth workflows in content creation, making Profile Wireless the ultimate choice for smooth and efficient audio recording.
The microphone offers a wireless range of up to 245 meters to ensure clear sound even over long distances. Each clip-on wireless microphone has 16GB of built-in memory, capable of recording up to 30 hours of audio at 24-bit/48kHz resolution.
To protect against audio loss, the Profile Wireless has a backup recording mode that automatically activates internal recording if the wireless signal weakens. Additionally, Safety Channel mode records backup audio at a lower volume to prevent clipping. By recording at two different audio levels simultaneously, the Profile Wireless not only minimizes the risk of audio clipping, but also maximizes the dynamic range of the capsule.
The Profile Wireless Charging Bar securely contains a two-channel mini receiver with an OLED touchscreen, two pre-paired clip-on microphones that automatically connect to the receiver, magnetic clips for attaching the mics to delicate clothing, and adapters to connect the receiver to mobile phones or a camera cold shoe mount.
