Namibian parties have until tomorrow to review poll results – SABC News

Namibia’s electoral court has given two political parties until tomorrow to review voter documents from last month’s elections.

The Independent Patriots for Change and the Landless Peoples Movement say the elections were fraught with irregularities.

This comes after SWAPO presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi Ndaitwah won elections in November.

They claim the elections were flawed or even invalid due to a range of problems. However, the electorate has since defended the final result.

Although the court granted the IPC and the Landless Movement permission to inspect election materials, they said the deadline was too short since the process was expected to end on Friday.
