A Penn Yan man was arrested following an altercation with his roommates that resulted in physical confrontations and property damage, according to the Penn Yan Police Department.

Roger F. Johnson, 19, was arrested on October 29 around 6:15 p.m. Police allege Johnson got into a physical fight with two roommates at their shared residence, during which he intentionally damaged clothing belonging to one of the individuals. Johnson was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree harassment.

He was released on a citation and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date to answer the charges.
