Two of them are fictional movie characters and one is based on a real person, but they all shaped the public’s perception of what working on Wall Street could be like.

If you ask successful people at some of the biggest banks, asset managers, trading firms or hedge funds whether they see their reality accurately perceived on screen or in books, they will tell you that working at Wall Street is a little less colorful. that it is often painted.
