CNN’s Van Jones blasts pro-Hamas ‘idiots’ for supporting ‘Nazi organization’

In a discussion with actor and activist Jonah Platt on Tuesday, CNN commentator Van Jones offered strong words to describe Hamas and the terrorist group’s Western supporters.

“The Palestinians deserve all the support in the world,” Jones said on October 29. during the “Being Jewish with Jonah Platt” podcast. “Their cause is just, they want human rights, they want dignity, they want sovereignty – it’s magnificent. And it was hijacked by a Nazi organization called Hamas, which is terrible.”

Contrary to the positions of some others on the left, Jones said of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip: “They are not freedom fighters. They are freedom takers. They are not interested in democracy or human rights. They are not interested in women’s rights. They don’t care about gay rights.

During a discussion with actor and activist Jonah Platt on Tuesday, CNN commentator Van Jones used strong words to describe Hamas and the terrorist group’s Western supporters.
Jonah Platt spoke with Van Jones to delve into the historical power and current necessity of the Black-Jewish relationship.

Jones continued: “They don’t care about anything we care about. And they are trying to destroy Israel much more than helping the Palestinians. It’s a Nazi organization.

Characterizing support for the Palestinians as “a good cause that has been hijacked by bad people,” he insisted that “you have to be able to talk about these things honestly.”

He said that because of his positions on the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, “I’ve seen people taking money out of things that I’m a part of.” But who cares? Nothing compared to what these children experienced at the Nova festival. Nothing compared to what people experienced on the kibbutz.

Personalizing the debate, Jones said: “I’m a progressive, so Hamas attacked my people. These are my people on the kibbutz – they are liberals, they are my people.

He also rejected some of the rhetoric used by leftists to justify mass killings: “You have these idiots here saying, ‘Oh, they were Nazi Zionist colonizers, blah, blah, blah.’ And I’m like, “You guys don’t know anything about anything, you look like idiots, and the only reason you can get away with it is because there’s just no way.” not many Jews to fight. »
