A BRITISH woman has gone missing while getting separated at a street festival in St Lucia.

A search was launched for Jemima Colenso, who lives on a boat off the coast of Caribbean island, disappeared Saturday morning.

The 33-year-old man was last seen around 11:25 p.m. Friday evening in Gros Islet on the island.

Jemima was partying at the Friday night street party and posted a smiling photo from a yacht before her mysterious disappearance.

The Briton lived on a ship named Lola, moored at the Rodney Bay marina in the north of the island.

An extensive search was launched, with police working “around the clock” to find the 33-year-old.

A police source said: “We are appealing for any information revelers at the street party may have about this woman.

“She’s missing and we need to find her and locate her.”

The missing Brit’s last Instagram post was a beaming image of her behind the wheel of a yacht.

A local street vendor who spent 25 years attending the famous street party has shared his shock at the young Briton’s disappearance.

They said: “People come from all over the world to celebrate and we don’t expect them to disappear.

“Everyone comes here to have a good time and be merry. I hope this young lady is found soon so we don’t have to worry.

“The police have always done a good job keeping everyone in this city safe and protected.”

Jemima owned a pottery business based in Somerset and shared her designs on Instagram and Facebook.

The 33-year-old closed her independent business, while holding a closing sale in November, before “sailing on”.

She was last seen at the Friday night street party in Gros Islet on the island.
