Saskatoon police seize car, cash and cocaine after drug investigation

Officers with the Saskatoon Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team arrested a 40-year-old man this week, seizing cash, cocaine and a Lincoln SUV.

Police say a drug investigation led to the man’s arrest in the 200 block of Fairmont Drive in the Fairhaven neighborhood around 10 p.m. Wednesday evening, and officers seized cocaine and cash.

Officers then executed a search warrant at an address located near Miyo-Wâhkôhtowin Road.

Police said the investigation resulted in the seizure of $2,655 in cash along with 97 grams of powder cocaine and a 2010 Lincoln MKX.

“The 40-year-old Saskatoon man was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000,” the police said. police in a press release.
