The PS5 Pro is sure to be on the slightly optimistic Christmas lists of all kinds of people, young and old, this year. The inevitably high price that Sony imposed the most powerful console it’s already been made means having someone else buy it for you would make life a lot easier.

Of course, this price also means that only the most generous (and financially liquid) gift-givers would consider giving one, so most people will instead try to figure out if they can justify a purchase on their own. As a person who sold his PS5 and I’ve already spent a few hundred dollars to get one, I have some ideas that might enlighten you.
