Police resolve suspicious incident in Mississauga

Peel police say they have resolved a suspicious incident stemming from a video showing a person appearing to have been restrained.

Police made the announcement hours after launching a public appeal, asking those involved in the video to speak to police.

They did not provide further details on how the incident was resolved.

Investigators were initially notified Friday evening of the incident, which reportedly occurred in the area of ​​Traders Boulevard and Hurontario Street.

“Security footage appears to show a restrained individual associated with a dark colored sedan and an orange SUV. Both vehicles left the area in unknown directions,” police said in a statement Saturday afternoon.

They even posted photos from the video in which one individual appears to have his hands tied behind his back while being held by another person.

It is unclear whether those involved then called the police to resolve the matter.
