Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Vice President Shamsuzzaman Dudu today said the people of the country will never forgive fallen fascist Sheikh Hasina for committing genocide to end the mass uprising.

“We must do politics to build a new Bangladesh keeping in mind the memory of the misrule of the fallen fascist Sheikh Hasina and the Awami League. Sheikh Hasina committed genocide to stop the student and people’s movement. So, the people of the country I would not forgive them,” he said.

He was addressing a memorial meeting as the chief guest organized by the BNP from Jhenaidah district, marking the second death anniversary of the BNP President’s Advisory Council member and veteran freedom fighter and legislator from the constituency of Jhenaidah-2, Moshiur Rahman, at the premises of the Jhenaidah Press Club.

The senior BNP leader said that the politics of mismanagement will not exist in future as the people of the country are now united against any form of mismanagement.

“The people of the country would bring the BNP to power under the leadership of its leader Tarique Rahman,” he said.

Dudu called on BNP leaders and activists to help the caretaker government create an atmosphere conducive to holding free, fair and neutral elections.

BNP President Advocate, Jhenaidah District Unit MA Majid chaired the meeting while General Secretary Zahiduzzaman Mona headed it.

BNP Central Committee Deputy Organizing Secretary Babu Joyonto Kumar Kundu, BNP District Vice-President Munshi Kamal Azad Pannu and Principal Deputy General Secretary Abdul Majid Biswas among others spoke on the occasion .
