JOHANNESBURG — MK Party Deputy President Dr John Hlophe has said that although President Jacob Zuma was the glue of the party, it would continue to exist even after he leaves office.

MKP is independent of Zuma: Hlophe

According to ENCAHlophe squashed claims that the party is centered around Msholozi and would die with him when he dies. He said the party was going well as an opposition party in Parliament shows that the party can survive without Zuma.

Hlophe, announced as vice-president when the party’s national high command was revealedsaid younger party members will take over once Zuma leaves the earth.

“I have no doubt that we will continue and spread the message that we learned from Zuma,” he remarked.

THE court upheld its judgment barring Hlophe from serving on the Judicial Service Commission, and the party said the decision infringed on Hlophe’s constitutional rights.
