PALMER LAKE — Popular convenience store Buc-ee’s could be coming to Palmer Lake. The town holds a meeting on the possibility of flagpole annexation of county land.

Palmer Lake Mayor Glant Havenar told News5 she posted details of the multi-step process on her Facebook page so the community can better understand what’s next, but she says it’s very early and no decision has been made. You can view the message below:

The popular convenience store, which has its roots in Texas, has become a go-to spot for road travelers. There is a location in Johnstown, Colorado, located south of Fort Collins.

The Palmer Lake Board of Trustees will hold a hearing Dec. 12 to determine whether Buc-ee’s is eligible to move to the next stage of annexation of county lands.
