TeleMiracle Enters 49th Year, Cast List Announced

TeleMiracle has announced its cast list, including new and returning hosts and artists, as the fundraiser prepares to present its 49th show.

The new cast members this year all have ties to Saskatchewan and include:

  • Weyburn country music artist Tenille Arts
  • Ashley Callingbull, actress, model, broadcaster and activist from the Enoch Cree First Nation

Returning guests include:

  • Beverley Mahood, singer-songwriter, actress, model and television host, who has hosted TeleMiracle for 28 years
  • Brad Johner, performer of “The Johner Brothers”, then “The Johner Boys”, who has hosted TeleMiracle for 28 years.
  • Luc Johner, singer, songwriter, pianist and photographer, who also performs with “The Johner Boys”
  • Jeffery Straker, singer-songwriter and pianist
  • Jill Straker, backing vocalist for Jeffery Straker for over 17 years, entering her 14th year with the TeleMiracle cast
  • Shailynn Taylor, disability advocate and motivational speaker from Moose Jaw
  • Two-time Juno and Gemini Award nominee Regina artist Dione Taylor
  • Lisa Franks, a two-time Para-Olympian in wheelchair racing and basketball
  • Sabeen Ahmad, weather and community anchor for CTV Regina and game announcer for the Riders

House band TeleMiracle, comprised of Sheldon Corbett, Jack Semple, Dave Chobot, Don Griffith and Glenn Ens, is also back for another year.

Over its 48 years of operation, TeleMiracle has raised more than $165 million to help Saskatchewan people receive medical assistance. In 2024, the event raised a total of $6,112,717.

The annual Saskatchewan Telethon will take place March 1-2, 2025.

The event will take place in Saskatoon but will be broadcast across Saskatchewan on CTV and live. on the TeleMiracle website.

The “Countdown to TeleMiracle” will be broadcast live on the organization’s website starting at 6:15 p.m., with the broadcast beginning at 9 p.m. on CTV Saskatchewan. The fundraiser will conclude on March 2 at 5 p.m. with the final reveal of the total.
