Eamonn Holmes has spoken out about Donald Trump’s predicted victory in the US election, saying he “wouldn’t exist” as a politician if he were in the UK.

The GB News host called it a “disrespect to women” following his conviction over alleged “hush money” payments to pornographic actress Stormy Daniels to cover up a sexual relationship between them. “If he was a British politician, he wouldn’t exist, he wouldn’t be here!” Eamonn exclaimed.

He made the comments as a “victory speech” was broadcast by Trump in which he declared himself the winner of the election race. The votes have not yet all been called, with the winner expected to reach 270, but her lead over Kamala Harris appears significant.

Eamonn remained silent throughout the screening of the 40-minute speech, only speaking after Trump’s “passionate and moving” delivery. Trump said: “I will not rest until I deliver the prosperous America that you deserve and that your children deserve!” adding, “This is America’s golden age!”

Eamonn wanted to know why he didn’t mention his opponent Kamala Harris once during his speech, when he turned his attention to the Democratic candidate and asked, “Why isn’t she talking?”

Meanwhile, Eamonn’s co-star Isabel Webster called out a ‘massive failure’ by President Biden, saying he ‘failed to sell Americans the promise they wanted’ .

She also read a note from Keir Starmer which saw him congratulate Trump on his victory and describe the US and UK as “closest allies”.

Nigel Farage then appeared on the show via video link to celebrate the news, saying he was “ecstatic” as Isabel spoke of the strong personal friendship between the pair.

“Whether you like him or not, he is an incredible human being,” said British reform leader Farage.

“I said loud and clear that Trump is going to win. I just think that the silent majority in America has had enough of the big parties taxing them too much… and the main thing is the borders,” he said. he exclaimed.

He also addressed the ten million illegal immigrants who are said to have “stormed” the United States.

“People are seeing an increase in crime and gang violence in their cities and they want someone to provide a solution,” he said.

“What the Labor government needs to do is roll out the red carpet and be welcoming… there is a fantastic opportunity in front of us (and) if I can broker some peace (between Trump and Starmer) I will. would be very happy to help!” he concluded.
