Young people first. The title and focus of a recently released report by Commission 119K, an initiative led by city mayors across the state and coordinated by the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities, could not be more succinct or more urgent.

The comprehensive report outlines a clear path forward for Connecticut to effectively respond – without delay – to the ongoing crisis currently affecting tens of thousands of disconnected and at-risk youth across our state, in communities large and small .
