Two days later, more Virginia voters react to 2024 election results

RICHMOND, Va. — Just two days after Donald Trump won the election to become the next president of the United States, CBS 6 went to ask more to voters what they think of the election.

Natanya: “I’m disappointed that he won. I don’t really think people really weigh the options. Once you have a daughter, it’s a whole different perspective. I really wish people would live with their differences and agree with him.”

Molly: “I definitely agree with both sides’ views, but I think ultimately, when you put them side by side, I had to go with it. For me, the economy is a huge deal because that’s the difference between working 9-5 and being able to stay home with my baby, gun control was a big issue for me, I didn’t like the idea. for someone to come and try to take what away from me whatever.

Anita: “I just have a feeling it’s going to be bad. I don’t think things are going to be cheaper like everyone thinks. I think it will help the rich with their taxes, but I’m not rich , then. We will also lose our reproductive rights and we will not be able to make choices for ourselves.

Anonymous voter: “I think it’s a new hope, it’s a new chance for us to see what’s going to happen. If you work on a ledger, you can see how prices are going crazy. Everyone can feel what he wants, but I must respect others, respect for your neighbor is the most important thing because you must treat people the way you want to be treated.”
