Forget the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, the RTX 6090 is already making waves

While we’re still waiting for the RTX 5090 to release, the PC gaming industry is already setting the stage for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 6090which just appeared in a trademark filing, alongside several other GeForce 6000 series model names, from the RTX 6050 to the RTX 6090 Super. In fact, almost every possible permutation of Nvidia’s usual GPU model names has been categorized in the entry. However, it’s important to note that this file comes from a third-party graphics card manufacturer, rather than Nvidia itself.

We are waiting Nvidia to announce its next lineup of gaming GPUs at the CES show in January 2025, with hopefully the RTX5090 making an appearance, as well as the RTX5080. However, graphics card manufacturer Sinotex has gone even further, with a trademark registration not only for 15 RTX 5000 names of graphics cards but also several RTX 6000 GPUs.

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) deposit was spotted by Korean tech enthusiast harukaza5719, who shared it in a job on X (formerly Twitter), while correctly noting that this is “just a trademark registration”, rather than an Nvidia product announcement.

Sinotex is a Hong Kong-based graphics manufacturer of computer components, including graphics cards based on Nvidia and AMD GPUs, which feature its Ninja branding. The company has produced cards with a variety of cooler designs for several GPU lines, but its current RTX 4000 series cards all feature fan-style coolers, which are useful for multi-GPU compute setups, thanks to to their reduced width at double location. but are noisy for gaming PCs.

However, it is unlikely that this new filing will share inside information on Nvidia’s GPU offerings this far into the future. It’s more likely that Sinotex is just hedging itself for every possible Nvidia GPU name it can think of for the next couple of years. The filing includes the following GPU names that have not been announced so far:

  • RTX 6090 Super
  • RTX 6090Ti
  • RTX6090
  • RTX 6080 Super
  • RTX 6080Ti
  • RTX6080
  • RTX 6070 Super
  • RTX 6070Ti
  • RTX6070
  • RTX 6060 Super
  • RTX 6060Ti
  • RTX6060
  • RTX 6050 Super
  • RTX 6050Ti
  • RTX6050
  • RTX 5090 Super
  • RTX 5090Ti
  • RTX5090
  • RTX 5080 Super
  • RTX 5080Ti
  • RTX5080
  • RTX 5070 Super
  • RTX 5070Ti
  • RTX5070
  • RTX 5060 Super
  • RTX 5060Ti
  • RTX5060
  • RTX 5050 Super
  • RTX 5050Ti
  • RTX5050

Of course, Nvidia hasn’t officially announced any of the above GPUs, although there are reports of the RTX5070 potentially launched in early 2025, and we anticipate a RTX5060 also be in preparation. Sinotex clearly expects Nvidia to release a number of new GPUs over the next few years, although the final lineup is unlikely to include all of the above model names.
