Several regions of the country will be without electricity on Sunday.

Kenya Power announced on Saturday that several areas in four counties would be without electricity as part of the company’s routine maintenance works.

The four counties include Nairobi, Kakamega, Kiambu and Kisumu.

In Nairobi, Kenya Power will maintain parts of Rangwe Road and Kampala Road.

“The listed areas will undergo scheduled electrical maintenance tomorrow, November 10, 2024. We regret any inconvenience that may be caused during operations,” Kenya Power said.

Those affected include Paperplast Ltd, Royal Swiss Bakery, Kay Lift Services, Rangwe Close, Chandaria Industries, Jojo Tanks, Trans Africa Paper mills and adjacent customers.

On Kampala Road, customers who will be affected by maintenance as per Kenya Power schedule are ABM, Breweries Malting, Kamongo, Ketepa, Chloride Exide, Dodhia Packaging, Ryce East Africa, Nairobi Water & Sewerage, UDV, Kenya Marbles and adjacent customers .

Scheduled maintenance in Nairobi will take place between 9am and 5pm.

In Kakamega, customers residing in the Matawa area will be affected by routine maintenance scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

These are Matawa Market, Matawa Village, Ebukamba, Lureko Complex, Matawa Health Centre, Lureko Industrial Park, Ebukabala and adjacent clients.

In Kisumu, maintenance will be carried out between 9am and 3pm in Kano with affected customers including Nyasamaria, Ragumo, Kadete, Nyangande, Ahero market, Trida factories, Korowe and adjacent customers.

Kenya Power has scheduled maintenance in parts of Kiambu from 9am to 5pm, affecting customers in Kiandutu, Kahawa Bora, Chania Feeds and parts of Capwell.

During this period, electricity will be unavailable at Kiandutu, Kiandutu Health Centre, Broadway Juja Workshop, Pumping Site Factory, Jungle nut Chania feeds, Kevin industries, Ken Blest, MRM, Polysack, at St Mulumba Hospital, Ben Med, KVM, parts of Capwell. and adjacent customers.
