A gloomy and heavy start to the week

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – We’re particularly heavy for the season in the short term, but some relief could be on the way.

From tonight until Tuesday evening

Isolated showers are possible through Monday evening, but it won’t rain for everyone. We remain soft and heavy. Overnight lows only fall into the upper 60s and lower 70s under mostly cloudy skies. Some areas of patchy fog are possible.

The forecast doesn’t change much for Tuesday. We follow isolated showers under a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures peak in the low to mid 80s.

For Tuesday evening, we will see mainly dry weather under partly cloudy skies. Lows dip into the low to mid 60s.

Middle of the week

Wednesday looks set to be rather dry with a mix of sun and clouds. An isolated shower is possible, but the chance of rain remains low. Temperatures reach the upper 70s and lower 80s. Isolated showers persist Wednesday evening. Lows reached in the lower 60s.

We are keeping an eye on a cold front for Thursday. As a result, occasional showers appear possible under partly sunny skies. Highs top out in the upper 70s. Drier air is expected to move into the region by Thursday evening. Overnight lows fall into the mid 50s.

End of the week

Behind our cold front, the forecast looks fantastic to end the week.

We’re tracking near-average temperatures, lower humidity and plenty of sunshine Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures reach the mid to upper 70s in the Big Bend and South Georgia.

Low temperatures are cooler. For most of us, we’re in the lower 50s, but some people in their 40s seem possible.
