THE Kenya The meteorological department has predicted a seven-day spell of heavy rain in various parts of the country.

In his forecast, the meteorologist observed that violent torrents would hit the central highlands, Western Kenya, Lake Victoria Basin, Rift Valley, Southeast Plains, Coast and Northeast Kenya, Tuesday, November 12 to Monday, November 18.

Heavy precipitation will, however, alternate with sunny, dry and cold weather in most regions.

According to the meteorologist, throughout this period, daytime temperatures will exceed 30°C in several regions, particularly on the coast, in the northeast and west areas, where residents are advised to stay hydrated .

At the same time, nighttime temperatures would fall below 10°C in some areas of the central highlands, central Rift Valley and southeastern lowlands.
